With the D4 Conference quickly approaching, the Committee has been working to ensure a positive conference experience for all attendees. You can find the latest information and details on the conference on the D4 website. However, I wanted to reach out to you all on a few issues to keep you up to date on the latest developments. Conference Registration There is still time to register for the conference. Learn about the latest issues, meet fellow Zontians and visit the city where it all began.
Since the Hyatt Hotel is booked to capacity, the Committee has arranged for a block of rooms at an alternative site. The alternative hotel is the Wyndham Garden Buffalo Downtown Hotel, which is located at 125 High Street for the nights of 9/27 and 28. The cost per night is $149 plus 13.75% tax. Reservations can be made by calling 1-877-999-3223 and indicating that you are reserving a room under the Zonta Conference block. If you have a car, parking is available for a $18 fee per night. The hotel is a short distance from the Hyatt. You have a few options available for transportation to the Hyatt. It is about an 8-minute walk to the Hyatt or take a 3-minute walk to Main St. to the Rapid Transit station. You will then ride on the Rapid Transit to the next station at Fountain Plaza which will stop at the Hyatt. The Wyndham also offers a shuttle which may be available upon request. For additional information about the hotel you may want to check out their website at https://www.wyndhamhotels.com/wyndham-garden/buffalo-new-york/wyndham-garden-buffalo-downtown/overview The block of rooms will expire on August 20th.
