Greetings District 4 Members!

It is hard to believe a year is nearly completed for this biennium. It sure has been a different year for all of us. We have all learned new skills and have been able to adjust our way of thinking to succeed throughout the year.

As we begin to look forward to the coming year let us not forget what we have accomplished this year. Clubs have been resilient. You have adapted and met online on several platforms. You have worked around the COVID 19 pandemic to continue your hands-on service projects, continued your advocacy efforts and fundraising was very inventive. A beat was not missed in providing programming electronically along with invitations for D4 Board, Committee Chairs and ZI members to speak at your meetings. New members have been added to club rosters even as we were unable to meet in person.  Congratulations on all your successes!

District 4 members have actively participated in thirteen D4 Talks, D4 Learning, D4 Training and Books n Beverage’s opportunities. We had a successful electronic Spring Workshop in April. Our Zonta International President Sharon and Zonta International Director Fernanda were able to join us during this year. District 4 website continues to be a wonderful resource for all members. If you haven’t spent some time recently on the website, check it out at A wealth of information at your fingertips. District 4 continues with social media using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and E-News to reach our members.

Zonta International has also added informative programming and campaigns. I encourage you to take part in these opportunities. Zonta International’s website is

57th Zonta District 4 Conference will be held electronically on September 24-25, 2021. Two Countries United to Empower Women. Registration fee per member will be $45.00. Registration will be available beginning June 19, 2021, on the D4 website. Begin now to plan. Think about gathering and participating together as a club in a venue.

On Friday the day will be filled with a Special Opening Ceremony, Awards, Announcement of 2022-2024 Elected Board, Business Session and time for socialization. Saturday’s day will continue with Speakers, business sessions, socialization with D4 members, Celebrating Life Service and a few added surprises. Mark your calendars now to register for Conference.

As restrictions begin to ease due to the pandemic, I am looking forward to the day when we will be able to cross our country border and visit in person. I also look forward to D4 Meet Me at the Border Celebration. As you begin to plan your club calendars, I am available for travel to your club meetings/functions as well as other board members and D4 committees.

Join me as I look forward to another exciting year in Zonta International District 4. Let’s have another great year together!
