Zonta Hamilton 1 was well represented at the Coldest Night of the Year walk. We “manned” a table and handed out cookies and juice boxes to the walkers, on behalf of Helping Hands Street Ministry.
The Zonta Club of Hamilton 1 was honoured to partner with the YWCA Hamilton for the 50th Anniversary of their Women of Distinction awards. We donated $10,000 as a matching donor for the evening. The YWCA arranged for a 3 minute professional video of the relationship between ZC of Hamilton 1 and YWCA Hamilton that was shown at the event. As the only sponsor to set up a table, we had the chance to renew friendships and sometimes introduce the club to over 1100 attendees.
