On November 15th, members of the Zonta Club of KW and friends gathered to assemble another 1,000 Birthing Kits which will be delivered to World Vision for distribution. Much of the preparation of supplies was completed ahead including cutting and folding the poly, cutting the cords, and counting the gauze into 5’s. That made assembly a speedy event with 18 in attendance. This marks our club’s 31st assembly of Birthing Kits. This service project is a favourite of our club’s members, and we now have garnered several sponsors who contribute to the cost of the supplies needed.
