Chartered in 1920, the Zonta Club of Lockport recently celebrated its 105th anniversary of community service and advocacy. Holding charter number 11 within Zonta International, the Lockport club remains one of the earliest established chapters in the organization’s global network.

Zonta International, a leading organization dedicated to building a better world for women and girls.  In April 1945, Zonta was the only women’s service organization asked to attend the chartering of the United Nations.  For 105 years, the Zonta Club of Lockport has exemplified the spirit of service, leadership, and empowerment, continuing its legacy of making a meaningful impact both locally and worldwide.

As Zonta International continues to advance its global priorities, the Lockport club remains committed to its 2024–2026 advocacy and service goals: ending violence against women, promoting education equality, and supporting climate justice.
