The Zonta Club of Owen Sound celebrated their 35th anniversary on Oct. 20th. Charter member and current President Arlene Wright, welcomed the small but enthusiastic group in attendance. Three Charter Members are still members in the club and were in attendance, Shirley Byers, Eleanor Tannahill and Arlene Wright.

The venue was only able to accommodate 20 at this time. The Zonta Club of Kitchener Waterloo was the sponsoring club in 1986, and Past Governor Sandi Traverse and Past Governor Joanne Raymond both from Kitchener Waterloo attended.   Past Governors Kathleen Douglass, Lori Robinson from Brampton-Caledon and Governor-Elect Sheena Poole from Woostock also attended.

It was a spectacular night filled with laughter, great stories and shared memories.

District 4 Area 1 Director, (Lt. Governor-Elect) Jane Newman presented the current board with yellow roses as a follow up to their induction by zoom in May. Directors Shirley Byers and Sandy Stevenson, Secretary Ann Dumyn, President-Elect Barb Fedy and President Arlene Wright.
