Intimate Partner Violence and Femicide are issues that affect communities around the world.
On November 12th, as part of our 16 Days of Activism activities, the Zonta Club of Toronto hosted a panel discussion on, Intimate Partner Violence Femicide, and the effect that it is having on the shelter system.
Panelists Marrisa Kokkoros from Aura Freedom International, Wendy De Souza from METRAC, and Grace Kolawole of Street Haven Shelters provided information—some of which was a disturbing reminder that there is still much to do.
The webinar was recorded for use by other Zonta Clubs and interested parties. We all need to work together with our allies to bring an end to IPV and Femicide — Build A Better World For Women And Girls.
