The Zonta Club of Kenmore had a busy 16 Days of Activism. As you drove around the Kenmore/ Town of Tonawanda area you would see several signs which provided information for women or men who needed help with abusive relationships.

A community collection of items for the women in Haven House was a huge success. The needed items filled an entire van. An impressive response from our community.

Members collected age-appropriate items for the children of 18 different immigrant families as a welcome to our country.

A Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women was on display at the Kenmore Library for the entire month of November.

The proceeds from a pancake breakfast with Santa was fun and resulted in our best ever profit to be used for Domestic Violence prevention programs in our community.

But the Zonta Club of Kenmore is just taking a short break for the holidays and then will be right back to fulfilling the Zonta mission.  We will be making birthing kits in January along with two other clubs. Events scheduled for the winter and spring will help us support community and world-wide programs for women and girls in the true Zonta spirit.
