March 8, known worldwide as International Women’s Day, is also Rose Day for members of the Zonta Club of Jamestown. Members honored local women who demonstrate the ability to lift up other women in our community. Each rose was presented by a club member and the attached card read “The circles of women around us weave invisible nets of love that carry us when we’re weak, and sing with us when we’re strong.”
