The District 4 Zonta Foundation for Women (ZFW) Committee is very pleased to report District 4 members and clubs have donated a total of $25,769 to the ZFW as of January 31, 2023. Thank you to those members and clubs that have made contributions to support the work of the ZFW to date.
We do need your continued support though to reach ZFW fundraising goals. Overall donations for ZFW are at 20% of the biennium fundraising goals. Honour clubs in your area and club members with milestone anniversaries by a donation in recognition of their anniversary!
Donations are being encouraged throughout this year to celebrate 85 years of the Amelia Earhart Fellowship! To celebrate Zonta’s longest-standing program there are four featured levels of giving, each corresponding to a significant event or milestone in Amelia Earhart’s life or the Fellowship itself. Donors who give specifically toward this fundraising opportunity will be listed on a special Amelia Earhart 85th Anniversary Honor Roll list on the Zonta website. Please consider a donation at the first level Pioneer at only $25 (US) to commemorate Amelia Earhart’s age when she received her pilot’s license.
As we near International Women’s Day and Zonta Rose Day March 8, please consider a donation to the Zonta Foundation for Women to honor the current efforts of individuals advocating for gender equality.
Show your appreciation by making an online gift to he Zonta Foundation for Women as a tribute to that special person and include their email address for a . A reminder that donations to the Zonta Foundation for Women allows Zonta to improve women’s lives both locally and globally, their children’s lives and the communities in which they live and work. 100 % of all donations to the Zonta Foundation for Women go directly to program support.
