What You Need to Know About Human Trafficking

Join with the Zonta Cross Border Club to hear Joy Brown, Peel Regional Police (Toronto), Advisor CSWB Projects and Initiatives will educate us on Human Trafficking.

Joy Brown is a retired member of the Peel Regional Police Service.  She is currently assigned to Community Safety and Wellbeing Services for Peel Police as an Advisor.  She works with Community Partners to provide services to individuals, families and communities that are at risk and works directly with victims/survivors of human trafficking.

Joy is the former Chair of the Peel Human Trafficking Service Providers Committee.  The Committee has developed a Regional Protocol to address the needs of victims/survivors of Human Trafficking and provides community seminars/presentations/training to increase knowledge and awareness of the impact of human trafficking.
