Zonta Says NO

The Zonta Club of the Corry Area recently observed the 16 Days of Activism, from Nov. 25 to Dec. 10, when Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women, which includes childhood marriage. During the Corry club’s recent car/cash raffle drawing, club members posed with the banner the club purchased that hangs across a main street during the summer. 

Zonta of Corry Hosts Annual Car-cash Raffle

The Zonta Club of the Corry Area held its annual car/cash raffle on Thursday, Nov. 30, with a lucky Corry couple winning the $10,000 grand prize.

This was the 33rd year the club has held its annual raffle. The cost of a ticket is $100. The names of 25 ticket holders are drawn first. They receive the cost of the ticket back and still have a chance to win the grand prize.

A total of 225 tickets are sold.

A pastor from a Corry church drew the tickets, and the drawing was witnessed by several Zonta members and broadcast live on Facebook.
