International Women’s Day was celebrated with an event held at Cobble Beach on March 8th this year. The sold-out evening gala highlighted several local women who have made significant achievements in spite of the challenges each faced. They all shared messages of inspiration but the final speaker of the night was especially empowering—Meg Robertson, a self-employed drywall contractor, shared her story of courage and success. Meg also happens to be a club member of Zonta of Owen Sound! We are so proud of her spirit and grateful that she has chosen to be a member of Zonta!
