WARREN COUNTY CELEBARTES RED SAND PROJECT

Warren County Children’s Advocacy Center and Zonta Club of Warren partnered to make our community aware of the Red Sand Project.  We kicked off the project on October 7th with a ceremony at the Healing Garden.  Where we had speakers and members of our community participate in inserting red sand into the cracks of the concrete around the Healing Garden.  Participants received packets of information and sand and went through out our community and spread the word on what the Red Sand Project is.

All too often in this world we focus on all that is wrong that we can’t change, or is too hard. We all do it. Sometimes it’s hard not to. This month, you all took a journey with us by participating in the Red Sand Project to recognize the “hard,” call attention to the help, and promise to learn more about human trafficking and modern day slavery. “No one should fall through the cracks.”

Mark your calendars for October 5, 2024 and plan to join us again next year!
