The Zonta Club of Washington County PA held their annual Rose Day celebration honoring local business women on Sunday, September 17th at the Doubletree Hotel in Meadowlands.
They presented Rose Awards to 7 women and the Vivian Mulholland Nursing Award to a non-traditional student pursuing a Nursing Degree via the Washington Hospital School of Nursing. And, for the first time, they combined Rose Day with their annual Amelia Earhart presentations which recognizes the efforts of high school juniors. 2 outstanding High School students received education awards to help with their schooling.
