ZONTA CLUB OF TORONTO – SPIRIT AWARD
On December 13th, the Zonta Club of Toronto presented their first Spirit Award to Doris Geddes, a 38 year member of ZontaText in recognition of her many years of continued service to the life and Spirit of Zonta.
Doris is a former Professor of Mathematics at the University of Toronto. Upon her retirement in 1996, friends and colleagues established the Doris Geddes Award in Mathematics in her honour.
Doris remains as active as she can with Zonta, the University Women’s Club and her church.
