Zonta International Awards Program
Women in STEM: This Award began as a Women in Technology award in 2019 to increase the number of women in the field of technology. At the Zonta International Convention in June 2022, delegates voted to expand the program to include all STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) programs for this third biennium.
Note the changes to this program:
- Applications will be submitted at the Club level.
- Each district may submit one application for a $5000 scholarship to be awarded from the ZI Rose Fund.
Eligibility requirements differ for each program. Refer to Zonta.org website for requirements.
The club will evaluate the applications and submit one applicant to the District Governor by the July 15, 2023 deadline. The District 4 Awards Committee will evaluate the applications and select one candidate to submit to ZI.
