The Zonta Club of Jamestown brought color, laughter, and community spirit to the city by hosting its first-ever Mrs. Roper Romp on June 14, 2025. Inspired by the beloved character Helen Roper from the classic TV show Three’s Company, participants donned vibrant caftans, oversized jewelry, and big smiles as they walked through downtown Jamestown to several local establishments that offered specialty drinks and snacks for purchase.

The event began at 1:00 pm at the Northwest Arena, 319 W. 3rd Street, Jamestown, NY, at a cost of $10 at the door, for a co-ed, over 21 event.

Organizers hoped the turnout would exceed expectations, with dozens of “Mrs. Ropers” flooding the streets.

The event held on Saturday, June 14, attracted 77 participants dressed in vibrant caftans and retro glam.

The group made stops at Sullys at Northwest Arena, The National Comedy Center, Brazil Craft Beer & Wine Lounge, and Wicked Warrens, spreading cheer and laughter at every location.

The event wasnt just about fun. Together, participants raised $770 in support of the Zonta Clubs mission to build a better world for women and girls and support their scholarship programs, advocacy initiatives, and service projects throughout the Jamestown area.

The Zonta Club of Jamestown thanks all who participated, supported, and helped organize the event.
